The library was established in accordance with the wishes of Marcantonio Maldotti, who, in his will of 1791, left the citizens of Guastalla a collection of approximately 5,000 books.
The Maldotti Library offers, upon reservation, guided tours and workshops for schools of all levels, starting with an analysis of the institute's rich collection.
CONSULTATION
Everyone is welcomed to access the library reading room. Each user is required to fill in the attendance register with their personal details.
LOAN
Borrowing is permitted for all volumes printed in the last 70 years that are in good condition.
PHOTOREPRODUCTION
The Maldotti Library offers the possibility of photocopying contemporary texts in the library, provided they are in good condition and in compliance with current copyright legislation.
